Target is bringing in 8,000 new holiday gift items this season, with over half being retailer exclusives. The initiative includes AI shopping assistance and a new marketing campaign, focusing on seven key categories: Family Style, Family Fun, Beauty Destination, Food & Beverage, Wellness, Baby & Toddler, and Home for the Holidays.
The Home for the Holidays category is a standout, offering everything from furniture to seasonal decor. A highlight is the Holiday Entertaining collection, which features modern chalet and cottage-inspired tablescapes and decor, with prices starting at just $5.
Target’s private label, Threshold, has introduced a range of home fragrance gifts, including holiday-specific capsules developed with Capri Blue and Pura. For the kitchen, Target has launched over 200 new Threshold products to aid in hosting and holiday preparation.
The Christmas Dining and Entertaining selection includes curated assortments of glassware, serveware, kitchen linens, and mugs. Notable items are a 15-ounce Christmas Holly mug for $7.99, a Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Stripe Flour Sack kitchen towel for $4.99, and a set of four Threshold Cassin Mixed Champagne glasses for $20.
Most of Target’s new gift items are priced at $20 or less, with thousands available for $5 or under.
To enhance the shopping experience, Target is introducing the “Academy of Giftology” marketing campaign, set to launch in November. The campaign aims to guide shoppers in finding the perfect gifts. Additionally, Target has rolled out an AI-powered shopping assistant, “Ask Target”, available in beta on the company’s website and app.
Shoppers can also take advantage of a new Deal of the Day from November 1 to December 24, early Black Friday savings from November 5-7, and new limited-time offers every weekend throughout the holiday season.
