Fernish names five new executives

LOS ANGELES —Furniture rental company Fernish has added five executives to its team, all in newly created positions.

Evelyn Krasnow has been named chief marketing officer. Krasnow was formerly a marketing leader at Bird.

Sydni Gethner, who was previously a regional manager at Interior Define, is Fernish’s new head of sales.

Jorge Montoya

Jorge Montoya has been named vice president of operations. He has more than 20 years of experience and previously worked in operational excellence at Target.

Tessa Peshke has been named head of multifamily, and will be leading more of the B2B2C efforts and focusing more on multi-family buildings, such as apartment complexes. Peshke has more than 20 years of experience and was previously vice president of customer success at Rent Dynamics.

And John Praino has been named vice president of partnerships after having previously served as senior vice president of operations at Oakwood.

“We are growing, and to continue to grow, evolve, and perform at the highest level, we added these leaders to up-level our strategy as well as execution, all with a keen eye toward building a team and a culture that is consistent with our vision and values,” said President and COO Kristin Toth. “Growing the business and building the culture are each challenging, and we’re investing in the team and growing it to be sure we can successfully do both.”

Editor-in-Chief Allison Zisko first joined HFN in 1998 and spent many years covering the tabletop category before widening her scope to all home furnishings. In her current role, she oversees all aspects of HFN, including its print and digital products, and represents the brand at home and abroad through presentations, panel discussions and HFN’s podcast, The Inside Scoop.
